Blog Contest #4 - Comment Commotion

This time it is all about the soap! Leave a comment (up to 1 comment per day) on this blog post...be sure to tell me something interesting for the day -- an observation, musing, or current event comment will do nicely. Comments with no words will be deleted!

Contest ends September 20, 2008...and on September 21, I will use this Random Number Generator to pick the winner. If your comment number matches the first number from the Random Number Generator, YOU WIN! Retail value approximately $25!

...hmmm, so what do you win? Well, remember I said it's all about the soap? You will win any two bars of soap (you pick) currently listed in my Etsy shop, Soap Sense. You will also win one of my large, upcycled soap dishes (I pick)!

One small catch...you must leave a way for me to contact you via your comment... through your blog or Etsy shop is fine, as long as I can find you!

I think that covers it. Start the comment commotion!

Tried to leave a comment yesterday but realized I forgot to sign in then got distracted. LOL Anyway.. what I tried to say yesterday was quite simple...

Pass along a smile to a stranger. When you get one back in return, you will feel all warm and fuzzy inside. (grins) -Lisa

Grrrr.. I get so irritated at drivers these days! It's a shame that people are in such a hurry to get to where they are going that they can't take the time to let other cars in. I always let cars in even when I'm in a hurry! It's just the right thing to do people. ;o) Have a FAB Friday! -Lisa

Observation... Gas prices are out of this world. So many people are panicking and the lines at the gas stations are around the block. It was $3.53 on Thursday. Then Friday morning it was up to $3.79 and unfortunately I waited until the afternoon to fill up and it was up to $3.89. I hope this too, will pass soon!! Enjoy your Saturday! -Lisa

I am thinking of doing this on my blog as well, I want to drive more traffic to it. An observation: I have been putting more heart into my blog and etsy shop as of late. My observation is that I am a terrible story teller.

What lovely looking soap, I'd love to win that. My observation: Sadly, I've noticed a sharp increase in the crime rate in the last 6 months in our area. I believe the higher cost of just about everything is making people desperate and some are certainly choosing the wrong path. I would like to think that things will improve, until then, we must all be aware of what's going on around us.

Microsoft is having a their annual company meeting today at Safeco Field here in Seattle. For those who don't know Safeco Field is where the Mariners baseball team plays...I'm glad I'm not a baseball fan because they are on a hard core losing streak! Yikes!

I saw in the newspaper this morning that Rainn Wilson will be emcee at the meeting. Get it, Microsoft "Office". Gotta love the Office.

PS: Glad you made it through the storm!

I still love the soap, I want to win it, LOL!!!!!! My observation of the day is that while I love teaching wire work classes at my local bead shop, I need to eat dinner before I go so that my stomach will not growl loud enough to drowned out the chit chat.

TGIF! This has been a long week! LOL Have a blessed and beautiful Friday! -Lisa

My observation: no matter how someone tries to get -only slightly- ahead everything comes crashing down. Useually if its to good to be true its going to end and youll end up behind the starting point.

On the +side I would love to try your soap! The Yellow Rose sounds really great!
